Home.

October 10, 2016
By Anonymous

I came to the streetlight.

I wonder how many times

I had made this journey

I walked up the steps to the porch.

I had never seen our neighborhood

from this angle.

There was our house.

Daylight was busy,

a man waved, children raced

Summertime, children played.

Fall, children fought.

Winter, children shivered.

I made my way home.

I missed home.
