What Do I Know?
Was just trying to bond with a friend
learning something we "we both enjoy"
Then again, what do I know
Pitches can be so indecisive
going one way when they meant another
she left early, for she had to "go home"
but her Instagram post begged to differ
an Arizona in her hand with her "girl squad"
is it that difficult to be honest
Then again, what do I know
what was her intention? A four-seam or a cutter
Then again what do I know
thought I thew a strike, really threw a ball
What do I know? I'm just a scrawny girl tryna learn some baseball.

The theme of my poem is betrayal and misunderstanding. My main idea is of a person who doesn't understand their friends and feels as if they don't care about them like the usual friend would.
