I am the King
I am the king of my life. I live it how I want the way I want. Free, open, excited, happy. Despite this, times can, and will change. Sadness may fall. Anger may ensue. But above all, stay positive. Govern the kingdom you call your conscious, because life will try to push you down, rip right through you, like a river carving through sand. But just like a tree, plant yourself on the firmest ground, and spread your roots. The river of life is guaranteed to come your way. You may be knocked down, but when you do, you get back up. Plant your roots and let your branches reach to the sky. When you do this, you have truly become the king/queen of your life. A king/queen as strong as steel. As strong as an oak tree, hundreds of years old, roots weaving in and out of the soil, spreading far and wide. Branches taller than the clouds in the sky. When the river comes to you, you know what to do.
