Cameron is
Cameron is
Like that patient alligator
Waiting for its prey.
That single green tomato
In a patch of red ones.
That pen that clicks
Instead of having a cap.
Cameron is that kid you'd
Have babysit your newborn.
Sometimes feeling like a
Brown paper bag in the wind.
And sometimes the feeling you
Have taking off on your first plane.
He is the one bright star
In the polluted sky.
He can be that child that
Doesn't want to share.
But he also can be
That freehearted grandparent.
