Hope (had to be a longer title so...)
Hope means a lot to me.
It really spoke to me seeing him for the last time.
In his bed.
He lays.
I saw hope I held hope in my palms next to him.
He spoke to me whispering hope.
I hear his whisper hope when I'm in need of love.
He is always there from a distance.
“I know I'll see you soon” I tell him.
I look up, when he looks down.
I say “Hello” he says “Goodbye”
Never lose hope.
If not Dad, hope.
