Coffee
Coffee
The bitter taste runs down my throat
It wakes me up
My heart racing as i take another sip
Warmth fills my body
I forget what what happened yesterday
It’s in the past
It’s the next morning it’s my coffee
I close my eyes
The sleepless night is over with
My mind is clear
I take another sip and began moving
It’s a morning ritual
I walk through the same steps as i’ve done days before
It’s just the same
No matter what the day brings on i always know
I’ll have my coffee
