Youth
My days of youth are gone as are you, both lost in the dust of the desert of my head.
The loss of you will never be missed, but the hole you made will never be filled. The thought of you still runs and plays in my head as do the demons you left.
The darkness of my room will never be as dark as the bruises you gave me, the pitch black spots became the shape of a heart and people told me this was called love.
This was the start of everything bad in life.
My own life was taken from me,
and was kept in a glass bottle as a trophy for all to see but not to touch for the thought of me getting out was to big of an idea for you to think of.
I was too bright, so you covered me in the tar of depression.
You took me and put me down,
and I have finally found my way out and have become even brighter than before.
And have gone farther than you can even fathom.
