My first trip to Wrigley-
A wholesome affair,
a potent concoction of stale hot dogs and someone’s spilled beer
filled the air
The ivy dawned walls,
and the booing of the Phillies
reminded me that Phil fans boo,
regardless of the city
As for my Cubs,
they played their hearts out-
a grand slam in the 9th reminded me
As a Cubs fan,
I am cursed.
