The Stages of Death
I am not scared of death, I am scared of the stages of death
When I am dying, will I see my life flash before me.
Will I be disappointed in how short and unfulfilling my life was?
I am not scared of death, I am scared of the stages of death
Will I feel the pain death ripple through me?
Even if it’s for a second
Will I feel every bone breaking, blood bursting, body crippling move
Will I be praying to be free of the pain?
I am not scared of death, I am scared of the stages of death
After I die, where will my soul go?
My religion says that heaven is a state of mind, not a place
Will I never see my loved ones ever again?
Am I destined to be roaming in a ‘state of eternal bliss’?
What if I go to hell, are there others that I know?
If Hitler was sorry for his sins, would he truly be in heaven?
