Time creeps by
Moments fly,
She has grown into a rebellious and narcissistic peacock
From an innocent and powerless chestnut sparrow

Let go, please, daughter
Spread your fingers
Which the palms are warm and fragrant,
Release the little feathery creature
Its wings can't break through your blood-and-bone bars

Let it fly, please
Unlock the invisible cage
Which is made of love and care,
Free the bold romantic dreamer
You’re just a passenger of her life

Sweet agony!

Send her free
Because of that tweet,tweet,tweet
Because of those watery eyes begging for freedom

Spreading her scarlet wings with pink tips
Flying high in the endless sapphire heaven
And disappearing in where the water meets the sky

When I see what she longs for
Tears streaming down my bumpy roads,
A deep pain aches into the broken soul
And tears sting the veiled marbles.

I remember, I was her
Once upon a time.
