The Truth
The Truth
She joked her way through life
Her deepest fears
Her flaws
Her past
All hidden by the mask of her sarcastic manner
Numbing her true emotions
She joked when times were serious
Attempting to distinguish
The burning flames of reality
She wouldn’t dare to face
Now everyone is gone
And she is all alone
Lucky for her
It was only a joke
