Against the wall
Against the wall
A muted woman lay
Beneath the dirt was beauty
Nobody gave her a thought
Until one day a strange man flew by
He walked by from time to time
Day by day he took her into care
Every day the man treated her to some bread
She thought he was poor like her
He stayed with her for endless nights
When spring came around the man became more than just a man
They were close
He took the woman in with all the luxuries
She’s never seen such a thing
She felt betrayed
But he did it out of love
The woman who was once nothing, had everything she could ask for
