The beginning was different, but the ending was the same.
"Don't let the bed bugs bite"
Pillow struggles with only my mind to blame.
Mind wanders off into the land of unknown,
without movement the body lay still.
Eyes blank, sheets rest against my right cheekbone.
Doctors, yet to examine and pursue the science of the trigger,
Darkness fades as sleep is unfamiliar.
