When asked to describe what you feel with one word,
how do you describe that feeling when there are no
words to illurstrate the emotions that are breaking you?
But if you could show them your pain and hurt you
know it would tear their heart apart.
So then why do people judge those who rock
themselves to sleep with a song?
As if to say those who haven't felt the agony that is
heartbreak can do no wrong.
Why is it to say you are wounded do you have to be
bleeding?

Dark places is where this piece orginates from; dark places of which I don't want to return. Yet who would want to return to a dark place full of vicious nightmares? Who would want to return to a dark place when the light is so welcoming and kind? Who would want to return to depression?
I hope you enjoy and relate to this piece that I wrote a long time ago.
