A Star in the Sky
I would do anything for you, I would walk one hundred miles on my hands for you
You were my glue that kept me stable
But then you slipped away-- I felt you breathing and then you stopped
You turned to stone
You are now a star in the sky
It made me realize that I am smaller than a poppy seed inside a great big bowl
I am just another memory in the house that built me
I am one of the thousands of pictures that I took
Someday I will turn to stone just like you
Someday I’ll be next to you, a star in the sky
