The flesh i'm in gets downgraded

Downgraded to where people with the same golor flesh die

The flesh i'm in is beautiful

It is strong, brave, and thick

My flesh and i fight battles you won't even think of

You look at me different because I'm darker than you

Maybe it's because im just as intellgent as you

Or way more brilliant than you

Do you still think I'm your slave

Still bathing your children

Cooking your food

Kneeling at your feet

You brutally beat me

He had a dream for all of my people to be free

But yet in your eyes i'm still down on my knees kissing

Your feet

You fail to realize I am just like you

I am human like you

I breathe the same air as you

I bleed the same blood as you

We are just two different complexions

Yo need to accept me for me and not for what you think of me

I am black and I am Proud

NO ONE CAN CHANGE THAT!

My history and roots is my inspiration. I believe that people my color and my race should know what that ancestors went through. They need to realize that people dided for them to be free.
