her...
amiable melodies playing
sound waves moving through the dark
crashing into our ears
but
quietly
i lean toward her to kiss her
on her rosy red cheek
in the night
by the light of the stars
i can see saturated colors
i can see her dark chocolate brown eyes
and as i taste her soft, sweet lips
i know for once
that love is not something to fear
but something to anticipate
