Sunset Smiles
Your breath sinks into the sky
Filled with thoughts and sheets of sunset ice cream
Your smile contains this liquid softness
That spirals like the air on a windy closing
You dripped faucet water on the flour
Causing screeching sounds to dance upon the delicate sunset
Like blue blood wrinkling the canvas of an artists secret
Tip toeing in slow motion as you watch it blacken the fall of the sun
Bitter berries leaking on white floors
The stars glimmer unripe in awe of your beauty
Your heart has stopped
But you fall back
Letting the stars kiss you goodnight
Saying goodbye until you awake for the creamy daylight
