Vicious Peace
Believing in peace is not naivety,
Nor is it being ignorant to the world’s reputable ruckus.
For those who do not believe in peace
are the ignorant individuals.
And the ignorant create the callous conflicts.
These conflicts are the world’s noticeable nonsense.
And the nonsense can be solved by the tranquil talkers.
But these tranquil talkers are shut down by dishonorable disputers
And so here we are stuck.
Solely stuck.
In a vicious cycle,
Of the thought that believing in peace
Is an act of naivety.

A friend was telling me how her friends thought she was naive for believing in world peace. This seemed ridiculous to me and inspired me to write this poem.
