The darkness fell over the field
Blocking out the last of light
Most of the the animals do to their dens
For they are scared of the night
But they don't know that when the sun sets
The stars shine just as bright
And with the moon there too shining itself
It really is quite the sight

Most are scared of what might happen
When the sun goes to bed
I say you should be more frightened
Of missing out on what i see instead

Don't be afraid of the night
Or mourn the light the sun once shined
Hiding in the corner of the dark
Is the light you didn't yet find
