Renewed Vitality

He grew restless and left home.
He went to face the unknown.
With constant misery,
It had seemed to him,
He was not a  ‘somebody.’

He could not understand the anxious ideas in his head.
And from time to time,
He was simply incapable of picturing those happy days.
But, when the struggle became clear,
The juvenile spirit awakened.

And thus it was magical  to look out beyond reality
And believe in a renewed vitality.


The author's comments:

From this poem, I hope readers that might be struggling will alter their perspective on everyday life. Some days, negative emotions and worries conquer the brain, which causes that person and their emotions to spiral down. Despite these seemingly unbearable emotions, a significant way to overcome this, is to believe that more positive things are on their way and this hardship will pass.
