My Love is Like...

My love is like a broken watch
Screen shattered and unwound
The use for this sad broken watch
Left scattered and unfound.
It sat there on my writing desk
Waiting for a profuse purpose.
It’s gears and hands never manned
It’s tears trailing down unnoticed.
I sat and watched the other clocks tick happy as can be,
I know broken things are never picked
So where does that leave me?
