Unimaginable
I stood there
Tears streaming down my face
With a rose in one hand
And a letter in the other
It was painful to think
To bring the thought of you to my mind
To think about what we had
And what we will never be
Love is not kind
Love is not patient
It is evil
and unforgiving
The pain brought from love
Is a pain unimaginable
A pain that only you can fix
Leaving you to wallow in your sadness
While they live without guilt
Moving on to better things
Living their life without your comfort
Without coming home to you
Watching them live on
And walk away from you
Is the greatest pain one can endure
Watching your true love
Love another
Is unimaginable

This poem is about heart break and the pain that comes with it. How difficult it is for people to move on and how hard it is to see the person you once loved care for another.
