The Light

You are the star, guiding my way through the darkness, I rely on you when I need you there the most, when night turns pitch and voices turn silent. Your bright orb extends a sheild of light, casting the way and onto which I wish to go. The soft glow of the yellowish white light allows me to feel brave, comfortable with the night. As long as I know you are there, nothing can stop me from following my dreams. Now it seems like i'm fighting for you, my little star. I hope you guide me for an eternity.
