Anagram Poem (Alcoholic Alphabet Soup)

hidden in Jack Daniels
a slice of lies and slack denial
later I’ll know drinking was a friendly fire
idly yield, not defend, find the end of just a friend
your mattress has mastered the art of a guest
treats me to the same rest as all the rest, a mess:
starts, stares, and tame tastes-
no lips, my muted eager innocence for
once wants none stays nice for no one
our brains mix confusion and clarity
not an occasion for occlusion but it’s snafued
so we lie silent in the dark, face-to-face, eyes slipping shut
kill all ill will for me, for her, for them
and another night lets do this again.

This is an anagram poem; the bolded words are the main words, and the lines that are underlined underneath the bold words are anagrams of that word.
