I am running and running from my past
Where I feel I made mistakes
But there is no escape
Because my past is there to find me.
I am running and running from my present
Where I know what obstacles are in my way
But there is no escape
Because my present is there to find me.
I am running and running from my future
Where I am scared of what lays before me
But there is no escape
Because my future is there to find me.
I am running and running toward some place
Where I can live in peace and solitude
But I am unsure of where that place is
Because I have not yet chosen my destiny.
