To the happy little three year old
Without a care in the world
With a smile from ear to ear
To the girl that believed every day was better than the last
What happened to that girl?
You thought everything was golden, and clear
Thinking life could not be messed up must have been great
I miss you little girl and your happy state of mind
What fun you had, every day alike
How did you manage it?
Nothing making you upset, nothing getting you down
Little girl, could you come back and visit me
Just for a little while?
