Life is like
a nursery rhyme
Repetitive
but catchy
Appreciated
But ignored
The first listen
New and exciting
But the more it is heard
The more boring it gets
Singing birds
Gliding over the sunset
A picture no longer
Painted in your mind
But the cheesy
Repetitive verses
And in the end
Everyone falls asleep
