The Oil on the Asphalt

The colors swirl together
All of them mixed into one
The sun brings out their best shine
The black asphalt compliments their glisten
The children point in awe
Trying to show their mothers
The beauty of the oil spill
Almost like a rainbow
Without the rain
Colorful but only in the sun
Complementing the plain black asphalt
The black goo is dull in the dark
The sticky tar substance
Its true colors are only revealed
In the light of the day

I love what oil looks like when the sun is shining on it. The colors all swirled together look so cool.
