In painted flocks
However near
Wings rustle with
Combatted fear.

Through weary looks
And sideways glances
A sparrow lands
Upon the branches.

How brave a bird is he!
What falcon stands to haunt?
Though broken sword,
And paper shield,
Our hero remains taut.

The mighty beast
With wings of coal
Gives one half-hearted clap
Twas all it took
How the earth shook!
Sparrow went tumbling back.

In painted flocks
However near
Wings rustle with
Combatted fear.

They weep today!
With tears of gold
They cry with sounds of metal
They forge the vengeance
Through the flames
To strike down he who meddle.

Now life’s restored,
The days anew
Because of swollen sparrow,
The Martyr with his chosen fate,
Thus ends the reign of terror.
