The Truth
Peace.
It’s what we value, what we hold dear.
No. Not quite that. It’s what we aspire to, what we think of as “right”.
But our opinions change as fast as the winds. When peace fails, we turn to violence.
Violence.
It’s what we tell ourselves we look down upon, but can accept when the time is “right”.
It’s a tool, but not a pleasure.
Whether or not either of these statements are true,
I don’t know.
But I would like to know.
And I don’t think I would like the truth.
