Fire and Ice
Her heart is ice
And her mind is fire
When she walks
She does so so so
Boldly
She is not afraid
Of the world’s venoms
She is venom
Of the most deadly
Kind
She pops hearts like
Balloons pop pop pop
With her sickly
Sweet smelling
Rose thorns
She falls in love
With fake alibies
And deceiving smiles
And when the reaper
Comes to collect her
She seduces him
With whispers
And puts him to
Sleep with the poppies
In her mind
She is a trickster
Dressed in the sun’s rays
That she steals from the day
In her eyes
There are a million wars
A million deaths
A million tears
That she will never allow
To fall
Because ice
And fire
Will wage battles with
Each other in her
Mind swollen with
Greif
