Morning Two Train
Every morning, I take the 2 train from 241st street to Wall street,
Every morning.
Every morning, I see the same group of people,
Give or take a few.
I know where everyone is getting on,
I know where everyone is getting off,
I know all.
But yet I know nothing.
All I know is the walls of this train and these two stations.
I’ve never left this state.
See you tomorrow Larry I say under my breath,
I name all of the other riders.
Bye Sally, I’ll see you tomorrow,
And the next day,
And the next.

Although I don't take the two train everyday, I do use the subway quite frequently and I wanted to make a poem from the point of view of a person who rides the subway often, just like me.
