immortal bond
I remember how vibrant the summer colors were when we used to travel.
How full the house was with laughter as people scrambled.
The music was always so cheerful.
Bringing us closer as night was falling.
We were always together,
and when I was in my low, your voice was always there calming.
I recall the time we went to the beach.
Just me and you. Those moments were always the best.
When we were alone, hot tropical wind blowing in my hair,
as I lay on your chest…
But now you have left me, taken away for a better purpose,
people used to tell me.
I don’t see the colors anymore.
The house is empty with a silence so loud, it pierces my ear.
There is no more music, nor beaches
And when I am sad, I don’t hear your voice.
You didn’t have to go, you know.
You could have stayed here with me,
Now I am being selfish. You must be happy, because now,
you are truly free.
