Into the dense peel in single continuous?
swirl plunges your thumb, clean membrane,?
dirt fingernail, juice-splatter, concrete.
The sky soft as soda cream,
cheap light? on carotene freckles,
Try, your lips hungry like traffic lights,?
the moment before the car hits.
I think color, all the other things
I only pretend to understand.
