Give me anger
O the stars that grant wishes
Give me anger, rage and irritation,
Show me the truest of pain.
Burn my body from the inside
Give me the anger that fills the hearts of evil.

But leave me a little success
Allow me to display what little I achieved.
A way to make sure I made something of myself,
An applause from someone who I will never know.
To be able to exhibit my life to my parents,
So that they may think I actually accomplished something.
Some reward to give me a sense of stability in my life,
To stand at the heart of success and be able to catch a glimpse of it.
