Stuck Here All Alone

How can I be stuck here all alone?
Why did they all leave me?
I wish my family was here at home.
First my brother and now my whole family.
All I can do now is read.
What will they think of me if I steal?
It’s not for the reasons of greed.
And maybe later on I’ll get a good meal.
Reading makes me feel like one.
My family doesn’t understand.
However, I don’t think I can be done.
If only someone would lend me a hand.
How can I be stuck here all alone?
Why did they all leave me?
