There's a Spider
When it’s time to go to bed,
And you lay down your head.
You close your weary eyes,
Not expecting a surprise.
In the corner of your room,
You seem to sense impending doom.
You slowly check and look around,
But there is nothing, not a sound.
Thought to be in solitude,
But someone did intrude.
You check the time, it’s half-past three.
Oh no, it cannot be.
Feel an itch,
It makes you twitch.
You turn around, nothing there,
But there’s a spider, in your hair.
