The Monster INSIDE
I believe in Monsters,
They are the smiles we fake,
The tragedies we make
The voices in our head
The reasons we cry in bed
The devil follows me day by day
Because he’s afraid to be alone
That’s why I say the things I say
To satisfy his own.
Father forgive me, for I have sinned,
I had written all my sorrows on my Skin
Who will save me now?
In my darkest hour,
I cannot fight now,
Because I have no powers.
And as I stand here, shallow and weak
While, silence in my head creep, creep, creep.
The monster is taking over me,
I’m not the same little girl I once use to be.
Yes, I believe in monsters
They crawl out at night
Yes, I believe in monsters
They are the demons we fight.
