Repeating Cycles
It was all fun and great
Yesterday was our first date.
Suddenly you hit my car with a bat.
How could you do that?
I gave you another chance
To figure out our romance.
But then you called me fat.
How could you do that?
We can give it another shot
And give it all we got.
Until you compared me to a rat.
How could you do that?
Now you look me in the eyes
As you try to apologize.
Then you claim I’m too ugly to look at.
How could you do that?

I really liked this poem because it explains how someone can be so wonderful one second then a new rude side comes out next.
