Always Near By
You say you’ve lost someone.
But have you truly lost them?
People/animals pass on almost every day.
Yeah it’s hard.
There will be tears shed.
Arms wrapped around you filled with comfort and love.
You tell your friends about the one you’ve lost.
In all reality, you haven’t lost them.
Family will always be with you.
Whether their here or not.
They pass on.
Your hurt.
Wondering why.
Why did they have to go so soon?
Why did you leave me?
Let me tell you my mother once told me.
Family members will pass on.
You will hurt for awhile.
If you believe they're gone, then their gone.
Secretly though, they’ll always be right beside you.
In your heart.
Memories.
Pictures.
You’ll see things that remind you of them.
Their favorite object, or toy.
Or remember going somewhere with them.
The park, dinner, or maybe just sitting on the couch talking about your day.
As long as you know they’re in your heart,
Then their never far.
Never think someone is gone.
You’ll see them again.
One day.
