Scars
Your words, they hurt like the razor blade i use to scratch out every memory of you.
You made me feel happy to.
Then turn around and feel the same neglect i was feeling before.
You made me feel safe.
To turn and see that you were the murder of my own heart.
You showed me care like no one in this world ever has.
To just be stabbed in the back with your own care free ego.
Now your words will scar, they will remain.
They will never leave...because they’re cut into my skin.
