It came at me all at once,
a monterous wave of
Agony.
Breath seized,
a moment
before I could let out
a howling scream.
Panic swelled within me,
I denied the inevitable,
It was not true,
It couldn't be.
Oh please God,
It couldn't be,
Tell me it's not
