True Friends
Mental illness,
People brush it off.
They act like it’s nothing,
But when someone acts upon said illness,
And then they are gone like the wind,
Or in the hospital, then,
Then people start to care.
That’s not fair to them,
You weren’t there when they needed it,
Now,
Now you are saying “I was always there”
“I will always be there for you.”
Don’t speak it.
Act upon it.
