The Risk

There's someone in this room I like
But I can’t tell them
The age difference would ruin him
Maybe he won’t like me
Maybe he will throw me away like everyone else
But maybe he’s different
He might take the risk of being mine
The risk of going to jail
The felonies he would get
What he would be called if he did become mine
Do I want him to take that chance?
Could I handle if he got taken away from me?
It’s up to him but I am hoping he is willing to take that risk
