What love is...
Love is like a meteor shower,
Expecting it, but not always ready.
Crashing before warning,
It makes things more beautiful to watch,
lighting up the sky
like, lighting up someone’s world.
Love is like perfume,
certain smells take you places,
and are tied to certain people
places you want to be,
people you want to be with
places you never thought you would return,
people who you would never forget.
Love is like rope,
pulling you to someone
and tying you down,
it’s your choice if you want to break free
or stay tied forever.
Love is like Insects,
not always wanted,
but almost always needed
annoying
but helpful.
Love is like nails
pinning you down.
Holding and supporting something,
only to eventually be ripped out
And maybe, it pins you down,
Fixes you to someone forever.
