I Turn
The food that goes in my mouth
Through my teeth
Acts like a net.
A block that stops things from going through
I eat.
It falls into my stomach, like a blanket on my body.
I turn to use a toilet, but its not here.
I turn, but I can’t because I am scared.
I turn but all I see is webbing.
It happens so fast that you can’t move or think.
You can’t turn
You can’t turn
You sit down and relax
You pull a blanket and reach for thin air
You sit but nothings there
So you fall
I sit for supper
But there is no food.
There’s nothing but an empty space
Circling you and trapping you.
I turn
And I turn
And I turn.
