Waiting by the door
Watching the clock
Like a hawk
My heart racing
To every car
That passes by
All dressed up
But one thing was missing
Him
I turned to my mom
Waiting patiently
In the kitchen
And she said
Listen,
Its after 7:00
Don't waste good lip gloss
