Let me tell you a story of how I lost a love one
The memories about this are becoming reruns
Her name was Jackie
She was a girl who could inspire
She had blondish hair and beautiful blue eyes
She was energetic like me but she was always organize
I remember when I first laid eyes on her she was 21
My first thought about her was that she was the one

It’s been two years since I lost her
I remember it was the 16th of September
It was our 10th anniversary which was the day of her death
She was in my arms taking her last breath
Her age that time was 31
At that age she looked gorgeous and very young
She was getting ready for our big day
Which was to go to San Francisco Bay
But first she wanted to eat
And she told me this was the only day I couldn’t be cheap
So I waited till she was done getting ready in our suite

She was finally ready so was I
We left the hotel to go get a bite
I believe we went to Steven Steakhouse
I really don’t remember I just know that we felt like we ate cows
We leave the restaurant and decided to walk
We walked for hours till we arrived at a boardwalk
So we decided to enjoy some rides
, to remember old times
, to sing to each other
, making plans for the next summer
But everything changes the next 10 minutes

It was 11 pm and we decided to walk back to the hotel
Everything was going great until
We see people dead in an alley
And a gang look towards us and the looked angry
I screamed at Jackie to run
And that when I heard a bang from a gun
I stopped myself and started to pray
I turned around and saw the gang running away

I see Jackie on the floor
I was shocked; I couldn’t move till it started to pour
I picked her up with her blood flowing through my finger and said don’t go boo
She said sorry but I want you to know that I love you
At that moment I was alone
And became unknown
My memories with her started to become blurs
I keep asking myself why I didn’t save her.
