Frozen Waterfalls
Her eyes had become frozen waterfalls
Each tear freezing on her cheek
Waiting for the seasons to change
  To finally be released
  To melt and disappear
But the pain grew with time
  And froze her lips
  Suffocating her words
Until she realized what she needed most
A light to dissolve the pain
Could not be found in other people
And she had forgotten the power she held
The frozen waterfalls thawed into glittering streams
  Washing away the pain
  She was new and alive
